2025 May 5 - May 18 AA Plus Vacation New Silk Road Classic Journey Pure Play 13-Day 11-Night

Amid cheers and laughter, we successfully concluded this Silk Road journey, deepening our understanding of the Silk Road from beginning to end. Following this historic route, we saw in Lanzhou the First Bridge Under Heaven—the Yellow River Bridge, also known as the Zhongshan Bridge, China's greatest river and second longest waterway. It is the cradle of the Chinese nation and the mother river, the birthplace of Chinese civilization and five thousand years of history and culture, the symbol of the Chinese people's spirit, and the totem of the dragon. The Huang He Mother Goddess Statue represents the vicissitudes and great changes the Chinese nation has experienced through thousands of years. In Xining, we visited Tar Lamasery, which differs greatly from ordinary Buddhist temples. Tar Lamasery is the center of Tibetan Buddhist activities in northwest China and enjoys great fame throughout China and Southeast Asia. Central governments throughout history have held high regard for Tar Lamasery's religious status. It has distinctive Tibetan characteristics. We also witnessed the pearl of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, Lake Qinghai, China's largest high-altitude inland saline lake. We even saw Tibetan yaks, bringing out our childlike wonder. Of course, we couldn't miss Rainbow Mountain, one of the world's ten great geographical wonders, and traveling through snow-capped Qilian Mountains, we entered Mati Temple, combining cave art and Qilian Mountain scenery in one, keeping us enthralled.

In Dunhuang, we naturally visited Jiayuguan, known as the Mightiest Pass Under Heaven, as well as the legendary Yang Pass, Yumen Pass, and Yadan Landform. The Mogao Caves, one of China's three great cave temples, is an artistic treasure of ancient civilization. Upon arriving in Xi'an, we visited the Terracotta Army of Qin Shi Huang, which is truly magnificent, and the renowned Huaqing Pool with its magnificent architecture. We walked throughout China's largest and best-preserved ancient city wall. We also experienced the Great Compassion Temple and the Great Goose Pagoda, filled with historical and cultural significance. We even enjoyed performances representing Dunhuang culture in the "Farewell to Dunhuang" show and Xi'an's famous show "The Empress Wu." We deeply thank your participation in bringing this unforgettable journey to a successful conclusion. Thank you!
