Standing before magnificent landscapes is one of life's greatest joys. AA Plus Vacation specially organized a 2-day, 1-night journey for everyone to experience Austin. Explore the vibrant, artistic, and romantic charm of this charming western town. For those with busy schedules or limited travel time, this is a wonderfully comfortable short getaway.
On the first day of the itinerary, we visited a Texas military base and explored interesting antique shops, including "Old World Antiques," which houses numerous antiques from around the world — definitely worth a visit. We also dined at the renowned Mexican restaurant "The Oasis on Lake," featuring beautiful ambiance and wonderful views to complement your meal.
On the second day, we visited the Capitol Building and explored the limestone caverns. The Capitol is impressively grand and magnificent, bustling with visitors. This cave system is known as Texas's largest limestone cavern, reportedly as expansive as a football field. The cavern interior is dark and damp, with distinctive and unique formations well worth visiting.
