We visited the Hermitage Museum, the "witness" to St. Petersburg's history; the Rostov Cathedral in Uglich; the famous Bolshoi Theatre and Red Square in Moscow; the Kremlin, symbol of Russian power; the Tretyakov Gallery, home to the world's most important Russian art collection; the ancient town of Yaroslavl, rich in historical monuments; Kucino Pier, a typical Russian village; Lake Onega, Europe's second-largest lake; the Winter Palace Museum, the greatest neoclassical architectural monument in Russia; Catherine Palace, the summer retreat of 18th-century Russian tsars; Peterhof Palace with its elegant gardens and beautiful fountains; an exploration of Jewish Moscow; and a journey along the "Blue Route" visiting the Svir River and beyond...
During this beautiful journey, in a season of youthful vitality, with a distant and beautiful destination and everyone's companionship all the way, this trip has fostered deep friendships among all our fellow travelers.
