Home - Airplane - New York City
Airport pick-up service at JFK or LaGuardia International Airport (8:30-24:00). Optional morning tour available for guests arriving before 9:00am including New York City Hall, Brooklyn Bridge, Chinatown, Little Italy, Manhattan Bridge, and SoHo. Optional night tour available for guests arriving before 4:30pm including Times Square, Broadway, Rockefeller Center, Fifth Avenue, St. Patrick's Cathedral, and Long Island City night view. Transfer to Flushing hotel (10 miles, 20 minutes). First-day itinerary subject to change upon arrival.
New York - Philadelphia - Washington D.C.
Morning: Drive from New York to Philadelphia (100 miles, 1 hour 40 minutes). Visit Independence National Historical Park (30 minutes) - birthplace of the United States, featuring Independence Square, historic buildings from the American Revolution, and founding father statues. Afternoon: Drive to Washington D.C. (140 miles, 2 hours 30 minutes). Visit U.S. Capitol with in-depth tour of corridors and murals (optional, 120 minutes - includes inside Capitol & National Archives, outside visit to Supreme Court and Library of Congress). Visit The National Archives to view Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights, and other historic documents. Outside visit to White House (30 minutes). Evening: Drive to Gaithersburg hotel (25 miles, 40 minutes).
Washington D.C. - New York
Morning: Drive from hotel to Washington D.C. (25 miles, 40 minutes). Visit Lincoln Memorial - white ancient Greek temple-style building where Martin Luther King delivered his "I Have a Dream" speech. Visit Vietnam Veterans Memorial - 500-foot-long V-shaped black granite monument with names of 57,000+ U.S. soldiers who died in Vietnam War (1959-1975). Afternoon: Washington D.C. In-depth Tour (mandatory, 90 minutes) including Air Force Memorial (20 minutes - three curved steel columns inspired by Thunderbirds aerobatic smoke trails), Thomas Jefferson Memorial (20 minutes), and World War II Memorial (20 minutes - honoring 16 million American service members). Evening: Drive from Washington D.C. to New York (230 miles, 4 hours).
New York City Tour
All day exploration of New York City's iconic attractions. New York City Fortune Tour (mandatory, 150 minutes) by car and hiking, stopping at four regions: 1) Canyon of Heroes, Woolworth Building, 15 Park Row, Porter Building, St. Paul's Church, Telegraph Building; 2) Equitable Building, Trinity Church, Bank of New York, Federal Hall, New York Stock Exchange, Trump Building, Deutsche Bank, Charging Bull, Customs House, Standard Oil Building, Cunard Line HQ; 3) Rockefeller Center with Diamond District and International Gem Tower; 4) Pulitzer Fountain, Grand Army Plaza, Plaza Hotel, Times Square, Nasdaq MarketSite. All attractions viewed externally. Optional: One World Trade Center Observatory (70 minutes) - 1,776-foot-tall Freedom Tower with 360-degree views and immersive galleries. Optional: Liberty Cruise (60 minutes) - Hudson River tour with views of Statue of Liberty, Manhattan skyline, Empire State Building. Optional: RiseNY (60 minutes) - immersive New York history experience in recreated 1904 City Hall subway station with 4D ride over five boroughs.
