San Francisco - Las Vegas
Depart from San Francisco in the morning and arrive in Las Vegas in the evening. Drive from San Francisco to Las Vegas (570 miles, 10 hours). Las Vegas - Zion National Park - Bryce Canyon National Park - Page
Leave Las Vegas for two major national parks in Utah. Morning: Drive from Las Vegas to Zion National Park (155 miles, 2.5 hours). Visit Zion National Park - a dream destination for hikers and photographers. The park's myriad rock formations, numerous wilderness trails, and unique wildlife beckon visitors. Spring and fall are when weather is most pleasant and flowers are in full bloom. Afternoon: Drive from Zion to Bryce Canyon National Park (85 miles, 1 hour 50 minutes). Bryce Canyon is not a true canyon but forms a vast natural amphitheater. Its unique rock pillars are formed by wind, river water, and ice erosion. The red, orange, and white rocks create a unique natural landscape, earning the nickname "Palace of Natural Stone Figurines." Afternoon: Drive from Bryce Canyon to Page (151 miles, 2 hours 40 minutes). Pass by Glen Canyon Dam and Lake Powell.
Page - Antelope Canyon / Horseshoe Bend - Grand Canyon National Park - Las Vegas
Depart from Page to explore natural wonders. Morning: Drive from hotel to Antelope Canyon / Horseshoe Bend (10 miles, 20 minutes). Visit Lower Antelope Canyon - formed by soft sandstone after millions of years of erosion. Flash floods often flow into the canyon during monsoon season. All visible light comes from cracks at the top of the canyon, refracted by rock texture, producing dreamy and irregular color changes. Visit Horseshoe Bend - one of the top ten best photography spots in the USA. The dense aquatic plants on the Colorado River bed make the water appear fluorescent green. The river turns 360 degrees, cutting out a horseshoe-shaped canyon. Morning: Drive from Horseshoe Bend to Grand Canyon National Park (110 miles, 2 hours). Afternoon: Visit Grand Canyon National Park East Rim & South Rim. The park's central feature is the Grand Canyon, a gorge of the Colorado River, often considered one of the Wonders of the World. UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979. Afternoon: Drive from Grand Canyon to Las Vegas (275 miles, 4.5 hours).
Las Vegas - San Francisco
