Seattle - Vehicle - Vancouver
Depart from Seattle and head to Vancouver, Canada's major political, economic, cultural, tourist and transportation center in western Canada. Visit Stanley Park (one of the best city parks in the world with three large beaches, zoo, aquarium, golf course, rose garden, and totem poles), pass by Chinatown, visit Canada Place (optional FlyOver Canada 4D experience at own expense), Gastown Steam Clock (world's first steam-driven clock since 1977), and Granville Island (former industrial peninsula now featuring modern art and farmer's market).
Victoria 1-Day Tour
Board BC Ferries for a 90-minute journey to Victoria, capital of British Columbia. Visit The Butchart Gardens (mandatory, 60 mins) or Butterfly Gardens if Butchart Gardens is closed (January 1-February 1, 2026). Pass by Canada's oldest Chinatown and visit Victoria Inner Harbour (45 mins) and Victoria Mile Zero Monument (10 mins - symbolic starting point of the Trans-Canada Highway). Return to Vancouver via BC Ferry (90 mins).
Vancouver - Vehicle - Kamloops - Vehicle - Spahats Falls - Vehicle - Valemount
Depart Vancouver and drive along Fraser Valley Highway to Hope (gold rush town, 30 mins). Continue to Kamloops, a semi-desert city famous for ginseng production. Visit Kamloops Ginseng Factory (45 mins) to learn about ginseng cultivation and therapeutic benefits with ginseng tea sampling. Proceed to Spahats Falls (30 mins) - a natural wonder shaped by over 400,000 years of glacial and volcanic activity with 80-meter waterfalls. Spend the night in Valemount.
Valemount - Vehicle - Mount Robson Provincial Park - Vehicle - Maligne Lake
Depart Valemount and enter Mount Robson Provincial Park (30 mins), British Columbia's oldest provincial park and UNESCO World Heritage site. The park features Mount Robson (3,954 meters, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies). Continue to the town of Jasper (30 mins), a charming town in the northernmost Rocky Mountains with population ~3,000, built in 1822 with complete facilities. Take a cruise on Maligne Lake (optional, 90 mins) - the world's second largest glacial lake and the largest glacial lake in the Rocky Mountains with Fairy Island.
Jasper National Park - Vehicle - Columbia Icefield - Vehicle - Peyto Lake - Vehicle - Banff Town
Visit Jasper National Park (one of Canada's renowned alpine national parks and largest in the Canadian Rockies, UNESCO World Heritage site, 4,200 square miles). Visit Athabasca Falls (30 mins) - a 23-meter waterfall known as the most breathtaking in the Rocky Mountains. Continue along Icefields Parkway to Columbia Icefield (3 hours, includes Ice Explorer snowmobile to 300-meter-deep Athabasca Glacier and Glacier Glass Bridge 280 meters high). Visit Peyto Lake (30 mins) - a glacier-fed lake with distinctive Tiffany blue water due to mineral deposits. Arrive in Banff in the evening. Optional: Banff Night Tour (USD$70/CAD$85 per person) to catch sunset views.
Banff - Vehicle - Lake Louise - Vehicle - Moraine Lake - Vehicle - Revelstoke/Salmon Arm
Depart Banff and take the Banff Sulphur Mountain Gondola (60 mins) to 2,281 meters for 360-degree panoramic views of Banff National Park, Banff Town, Bow River Valley, and the Rocky Mountains (8-minute ride). Visit Lake Louise Village and Lake Louise (90 mins) - known as the 'Rocky Mountain Sapphire', a famous attraction with Mount Victoria as backdrop and surrounded by dense forests. Visit Moraine Lake (30 mins) - a glacial lake in the Valley of the Ten Peaks with mineral-rich gravel bottom creating ever-changing blue water. Pass through Glacier National Park and enjoy Glacier Valley scenery. Overnight in Revelstoke or Salmon Arm. Note: Moraine Lake opens June to mid-October; if closed, visit hours at Lake Louise will be extended.
Revelstoke/Salmon Arm - Vehicle - Kelowna - Vehicle - Vancouver - Vehicle - Seattle
Head to Kelowna, the fruit capital of British Columbia. Visit Okanagan Lake (30 mins), also known as Lake Monster, to search for the legendary water monster 'Ogopogo' in Indian mythology. Visit a famous VQA winery such as Grizzli Winery or Summer Hill Winery (45 mins) to taste red and white wines and purchase world-famous Canadian ice wine. Return to Vancouver and then to Seattle.
