Banff - Johnston Canyon - Lake Louise - Salmon Arm

In the morning, visit Johnston Canyon in the Rocky Mountains. During winter, hike in the snowy canyon with crampons to see high-hanging waterfalls. Then proceed to Lake Louise, named after Princess Louise of the British royal family, and stroll along the beautiful lake. Pass by Yoho National Park and Glacier National Park before arriving in Salmon Arm. Johnston Canyon formed by thousands of years of river erosion with streams and waterfalls; lush vegetation in summer, crystal ice formations in winter. Lake Louise known as the 'Sapphire in the Rocky Mountains' with Mount Victoria as its backdrop.

Salmon Arm - Kamloops - Vancouver

Depart from Salmon Arm and head to Kamloops, hometown of American ginseng in the northern Okanagan Valley. City name comes from Indian word 'Cumcloups', reflecting location at the confluence of two tributaries of Thompson River. Visit Kamloops Sunmore Ginseng Factory - the largest producer of American ginseng in North America, thriving due to unpolluted fertile soil and semi-desert dry climate. Kamloops known as 'Ginseng Capital' with long history of 17 Aboriginal tribal communities. Return to Vancouver along scenic Fraser Valley Highway.
