Home - Airplane - Yellowknife
Welcome to Yellowknife, the capital of Canada's Northwest Territories. Complimentary 24-hour pick-up service from Yellowknife Airport (YZF). Tour guide wearing red Canada Goose jacket will hold pick-up sign with your name. After pick-up, check in at hotel. When night falls, drive to Indian Hunting Tent Valley Camp away from city light pollution. Special camp provides hot drinks and snacks. Opportunity to meet native Indian hunter demonstrating hunting methods and wildlife. After aurora appears, capture memorable photos which will be uploaded to cloud for free downloads. In case of heavy wind or snow, experienced driver will take you to lake or forest where aurora is also visible.
Free time in Yellowknife - Vehicle - Aurora Viewing or Aurora Hunting
Morning: Free time to participate in various activities at own expense. Recommended free activity: Century Square Mall. Optional paid activities available (Dog sledding, Snowmobile, Boating, Walking Tour to Cameron Falls, Self-driving ATV). Afternoon: 1-2 hour city tour visiting Big Slave Lake, old city, Indian reservation, Pilot Monument and other attractions. Option to pick up yellow knife and polar certificate at visitor center. Evening: Aurora viewing tour to capture memorable moments.
