San Francisco - Las Vegas
Depart from San Francisco in the morning and arrive in Las Vegas in the evening. Drive from San Francisco to Las Vegas (570 miles, 10 hours). In the evening, experience the Las Vegas Night View Tour with its neon lights, casinos, and world-class architecture. The electricity consumption of the five-kilometer-long Las Vegas Strip in one night can supply a city of 500,000 people with electricity for a year.
Las Vegas - Zion National Park - Bryce Canyon National Park
Experience the ever-changing American West. First stop is Zion National Park (45 mins), a dream destination for hikers and photographers with beautiful mountains, clear waters, and unique rock formations formed over millions of years of erosion. Visit Checkerboard Mesa (25 mins). Then proceed to Bryce Canyon National Park (60 mins), a vast natural amphitheater with unique rock pillars formed by erosion. The red, orange, and white rocks create a natural landscape nicknamed the "Palace of Natural Stone Figurines." Stay overnight in Bryce.
Bryce Canyon - Canyonlands National Park - Arches National Park - Blanding
Visit Canyonlands National Park (60 mins), a spectacular landscape eroded by the Colorado River and Green River, with the Island in the Sky mesa resting on sheer sandstone cliffs over 1,000 feet above surrounding terrain. Then proceed to Arches National Park (120 mins), the world's largest concentration of natural sandstone arches with over 2,000 natural rock arches. The arches have withstood thousands of years of wind and rain erosion in various strange postures.
Monument Valley - Horseshoe Bend - Lower Antelope Canyon - Tuba City
Visit Monument Valley (120 mins, optional Jeep tour available), a symbol of the original American West featured in many Western movies. The cross-country race in "Forrest Gump" ends here. Then visit Horseshoe Bend (75 mins), a famous photography spot selected by National Geographic Magazine where the Colorado River turns 360 degrees, creating a horseshoe-shaped canyon with fluorescent green water. Finally, visit the peculiar Lower Antelope Canyon (120 mins, optional), one of the top ten photography spots in the world with perfect wave-shaped rock walls formed by thousands of years of wind and water erosion. The cave is a sacred place for Navajo Indians. Stay overnight in Tuba City, an Indian reservation.
Grand Canyon National Park - Las Vegas
Drive to Grand Canyon National Park (60 miles, 1 hour), known as the first of the seven natural wonders of the world. Visit East Rim and South Rim (2.5 hours mandatory). The South Rim features rugged and majestic terrain with its bottomless canyon, making it the largest of its kind. Well-preserved viewpoints offer spectacular views. Optional helicopter tour available to overlook the Grand Canyon from the air (1 hour). Pass by the famous Hoover Dam on the way to Las Vegas. Evening entertainment options include night tour or world-class singing, dancing, and magic shows.
Las Vegas - Los Angeles
Morning visit to the Las Vegas welcome sign for check-in photos. Tour the famous M&M's World (four-level store with 28,000 square feet where guests can create personalized M&M's) and Coca-Cola Store (one of two in the world with a four-story-high classic bottle entrance and Coca-Cola merchandise from different countries and eras). Visit FlyOver Las Vegas (optional, 25 mins), experiencing cutting-edge technology with 4D immersion over volcanoes, glaciers, prairies, and peaks. See the colorful Seven Magic Mountains (30 mins), consisting of vertically stacked locally sourced limestone boulders with fluorescent colors, each totem 30-35 feet high. Shop at Outlets at Barstow (120 mins) in the desert on the way from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, featuring mostly second-tier and local American brands. Arrive in Los Angeles in the evening.
