Los Angeles - Las Vegas
Drive north on Highway 15 through San Bernardino Forest and the Mojave Desert, passing Joshua trees and desert landscape. Arrive in Las Vegas in the afternoon. Check-in after 3 pm. Rest at hotel or visit casino. Optional evening Las Vegas night view tour available. Las Vegas night: the Strip is a sea of neon lights covering 5 kilometers. The electricity consumption in one night can power a city of 500,000 for a year. Architecture blends styles from around the world, representing human engineering and American characteristics.
Las Vegas - Bryce
Visit Zion National Park (mandatory, 45 minutes) with beautiful mountains and clear waters formed over millions of years of erosion. The park features rock formations, wilderness trails, and unique wildlife. Then proceed to Bryce Canyon National Park (mandatory, 60 minutes). Bryce is a vast natural amphitheater rather than a true canyon, with unique rock pillars (hoodoos) formed by wind, water, and ice erosion. The red, orange, and white rocks create the landscape known as the "Palace of Natural Stone Figurines." Optional visit to Checkerboard Mesa (25 minutes). Stay overnight in Bryce.
Canyonlands National Park - Arches National Park
Visit Canyonlands National Park (mandatory, 60 minutes) near Moab in southeastern Utah. The park preserves a colorful landscape eroded into canyons, mesas, and buttes by the Colorado River and Green River. Island in the Sky mesa offers multiple overlooks with spectacular views along a scenic drive. Then visit Arches National Park (mandatory, 120 minutes) covering 309 square kilometers with more than 2,000 natural rock arches. The arches were formed when a salt layer that was once an ocean was covered by debris and squeezed into rock. Natural weathering and crust uplifting created the arches. The park features unique geological features including spires, pedestals, and balancing stones with strong color contrasts.
Monument Valley - Horseshoe Bend - Antelope Canyon
Visit Monument Valley (mandatory, 120 minutes, Jeep tour optional) featuring vast sandstone buttes up to 1,000 feet high on the Arizona-Utah border near Four Corners. The location has been featured in many Western films since the 1930s and defines how moviegoers imagine the American West. Then visit Horseshoe Bend (mandatory, 75 minutes), a famous photography spot selected by National Geographic. The river turns 360 degrees in the reddish-brown canyon, creating a horseshoe-shaped formation. Finally visit Lower Antelope Canyon (optional, 120 minutes) in northern Arizona, a slit cave formed by millions of years of erosion in soft sandstone. The canyon features hard, smooth valley walls resembling flowing water. Light enters through cracks at the top, producing dreamy and irregular color changes from deep to light tones. Lower Antelope Canyon will be closed 01/12/2026-01/18/2026 for maintenance; during this period, Antelope Canyon X is the alternative. Stay overnight in Tuba City on Navajo Indian reservation.
Grand Canyon National Park - Las Vegas
Visit Grand Canyon National Park (mandatory, 2.5 hours total for East Rim and South Rim), one of the seven natural wonders of the world located in northwestern Arizona. The park's central feature is the Grand Canyon gorge of the Colorado River. The South Rim lies in the middle with rugged and majestic terrain, countless viewpoints preserved to original state, and well-developed recreational environment. Optional helicopter tour over Grand Canyon South Rim (1 hour). Pass by Hoover Dam en route to Las Vegas. Optional evening night tour or world-class shows (singing, dancing, magic) available at own expense.
Las Vegas - Los Angeles
Visit Las Vegas internet celebrity welcome sign. Tour M&M's Las Vegas (28,000 square feet, four-level store with personal chocolate printer) and Coca-Cola Store Las Vegas (one of only two worldwide, featuring a four-story classic Coca-Cola bottle and products from different countries/eras). Optional Fly Over Las Vegas attraction featuring immersive technology simulating flight over volcanoes, glaciers, prairies, and urban spaces. Visit Seven Magic Mountains, a colorful art installation south of Las Vegas featuring seven colossal stone forms (30-35 feet high) stacked with locally sourced fluorescent limestone boulders. Afternoon shopping at Outlets at Barstow (mostly second-tier and local US brands with complete collections). Arrive in Los Angeles in evening.
