Las Vegas - Zion National Park - Bryce Canyon National Park - Bryce
Morning: Breakfast included. Drive to Zion National Park (45 minutes mandatory visit). Zion features beautiful mountains and clear waters, with numerous wilderness trails, unique wildlife, and cultural sites. View Checkerboard Mesa (25 minutes). Afternoon: Drive to Bryce Canyon National Park (60 minutes mandatory visit, 85 miles, 2 hours from Zion). Bryce is a vast natural amphitheater formed by erosion along the Ponsagant Plateau's eastern face. Unique rock pillars formed by wind, water, and ice erosion create red, orange, and white formations. Nicknamed "Palace of Natural Stone Figurines." Drive to hotel (10 miles, 20 minutes). Stay overnight in Bryce.
Bryce - Canyonlands National Park - Arches National Park - Blanding
Morning: Breakfast included. Drive 255 miles (5 hours) to Canyonlands National Park. Visit Island in the Sky mesa with sheer sandstone cliffs towering over 1,000 feet above surrounding terrain. Multiple overlooks offer different perspectives of the spectacular landscape. Afternoon: Drive 30 miles (1 hour) to Arches National Park. Tour the world's largest concentration of natural sandstone arches covering 309 square kilometers with over 2,000 natural rock arches (mandatory 120 minutes). Arches formed millions of years ago from salt layers and ancient ocean sediment. Park features numerous spires, pedestals, balancing stones, and unique geological features with strong color contrasts. Drive 80 miles (2 hours) to Blanding hotel.
Blanding - Monument Valley - Horseshoe Bend - Antelope Canyon - Tuba City
Morning: Breakfast included. Drive 75 miles (1.5 hours) to Monument Valley. Famous film location appearing in Western blockbusters, including the Forrest Gump cross-country race ending point. Visit Monument Valley (mandatory 120 minutes; Jeep visit optional). Monument Valley features vast sandstone buttes with the largest reaching 1,000 feet above valley floor, located on Arizona-Utah border. Afternoon: Drive 125 miles (2 hours) to Horseshoe Bend. One of National Geographic's top ten best photography spots. The Colorado River makes a 360-degree turn in the reddish-brown canyon, cutting a horseshoe-shaped canyon. Dense aquatic plants make the water appear fluorescent green. Breathtaking views of blue water, blue sky, and red rocks. Drive 10 miles (20 minutes) to Lower Antelope Canyon. Visit the peculiar slit cave (optional 120 minutes). Formed by soft sandstone after millions of years of erosion. Flash floods during monsoon season create vertical erosion forming smooth canyon walls resembling flowing water. No artificial lighting; light from top cracks refracted through rock texture creates dreamy, irregular color changes from deep to light. Considered one of the top ten photography spots in the world. Evening: Stay in Tuba City, an Indian reservation. Drive 80 miles (1.5 hours) from Antelope Canyon.
Tuba City - Grand Canyon National Park - Las Vegas
Morning: Breakfast included. Drive 60 miles (1 hour) to Grand Canyon National Park East Rim & South Rim (mandatory 2.5 hours). Covers 1,217,262 acres and received over six million visitors in 2017 (second highest after Great Smoky Mountains). The South Rim lies in the middle of the Grand Canyon with rugged, majestic terrain, bottomless canyons, and well-developed infrastructure suitable for road trips. Nearly every viewpoint preserved in original state. Afternoon: Optional Grand Canyon South Rim Helicopter Tour (1 hour). Pass by Hoover Dam en route. Drive 300 miles (5 hours) to Las Vegas.
