Depart for Osaka / Arrive Osaka
Take flight to Osaka. Pick-up service available from 08:00am to 21:00pm at Kansai International Airport with on-site receptionist to assist transfer to hotel. Hotel check-in available after 3pm with passport.
Hiroshima & Miyajima
After breakfast, transfer to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Atomic Bomb Dome, commemorating one of the darkest moments in Japanese history with goal of promoting peace. Take boat to Miyajima, one of Japan's top three scenic spots. Visit Itsukushima Shinto Shrine (Floating Shrine on the Sea) with over 1400 years of history, featuring elegant Heian era design set against blue sea and green forest. Take Shinkansen back to Osaka.
Kobe & Himeji
Transfer to Kobe in the morning. Visit Kobe Harborland, a shopping and entertainment district between JR Kobe Station and the waterfront. Visit Chinatown, a popular tourist attraction with shopping and dining options. Transfer to Himeji Castle, also known as White Heron Castle due to its elegant white appearance and widely considered Japan's most spectacular castle. At dusk, take Shinkansen to Hiroshima (guide will accompany). Tip: You can store large luggage at Osaka hotel and bring only one day's worth of carry-on bag.
Return to U.S. / Canada
After breakfast, transfer to Kansai International Airport by public transportation on own expense. Guide will provide advice in advance. End of journey.
