Days 1

Depart for Hokkaido - Arrive Noboribetsu

Depart for Hokkaido, Japan. Upon arrival at Sapporo (New Chitose) Airport, transfer to the hotel in Noboribetsu with receptionist's assistance. Enjoy delicious local cuisines in hotel. Note: dinner in hotel ends at 8 pm; if your flight arrives late and you cannot catch dinner, it will be regarded as voluntary renounce with no refund. Guests can check-in after 3 pm.

Days 2

Noboribetsu - Lake Toya - Hakodate

After breakfast, transfer to Noboribetsu Hell Valley, a crater and main source of Noboribetsu's hot spring waters. Enjoy and experience the River Oyunuma Natural Footbath (please bring your own towels). Visit Noboribetsu Date Jidaimura, a history-themed park that transports visitors back to the Edo period. Learn how ninjas and samurais lived as you pass by authentic houses. Overlook the ocean at Cape Chikyu, one of Hokkaido's most beautiful landscapes. Afterwards, visit Lake Toya with spectacular scenery. Enjoy the million-dollar night view of Mt. Hakodate, which ranks among the world's top three night views.

Hakodate - Otaru

After breakfast, head to the highly popular Hakodate Morning Market among tourists. Visit the Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse, one of Hakodate's most iconic attractions which exudes exotic charm. Walk on Motomachi, admiring the historic architecture and immersing in the exotic atmosphere. Visit Onuma Quasi-National Park, home to abundant wildlife and lush green forests. Seasonal variations: Late Apr~Early May: Goryokaku Park for cherry blossoms. Mid & Late May: Shiba Sakura Garden of Mt. Mishima for vibrant flowers. Late Oct~Mid Nov: Kosetsuen for red leaves.

Days 4

Otaru - Sapporo

After breakfast, walk along the old romantic Otaru Canal. Visit the Otaru Music Box Museum, a popular sightseeing attraction and the largest music box museum in Otaru. Afterwards, go back to Sapporo and visit Sapporo Beer Museum, Japan's only museum dedicated to beer, which explores the long history of Sapporo Beer. Visit Shiroi Koibito Park, a sweets theme park. Seasonal variations: Late May~Early Jun: Tenjin Wisteria, view the historic 200+ year old wisteria. Mid Oct~Mid Nov: Mt. Moiwa Ropeway to admire beautiful red maples. Enjoy Tanuki Koji Street. Days 5

Sapporo - Tokachigawa

After breakfast, visit the Former Hokkaido Government Office, Hokkaido's best-known symbol with a red star on its exterior wall symbolizing the Hokkaido Development Commission. Photo stop at the pink station house of Kofuku Station with walls covered in visitor cards hoping for good luck. Head to Ikeda Wine Castle, famous for its unique medieval European-style castle exterior and role in revitalizing the local economy; it is Japan's first winery operated by local government. Seasonal variations: Late Jan~Mid Mar: Lake Shikaribetsuko Kotan where you can witness the unique cultural phenomenon of igloos. Jan~Mar & Nov~Dec: Tsurumidal, offering the best opportunity to admire red-crowned cranes.

Tokachigawa - Depart New Chitose

Transfer to airport for your flight back home. Transfer service is arranged according to group members' flight time; it takes about 2.5 hours from hotel to airport. Flights departing after 1 pm are advised.
