San Francisco - Napa Valley - Drive-Thru Tree Park - Eureka
Depart from San Francisco Bay Area in the morning heading to Napa Valley, the most famous wine country. Enjoy an exclusive wine tasting tour at Sutter Home Winery, sampling five wines: Reserve White Zinfandel, Pinot Grigio, Zinfandel, Moscato, and Zinfandel Port (45 mins). Visit Drive-Thru Tree Park (Chandelier Drive-Thru Tree in Leggett) where visitors can drive through a 2,400-year-old redwood tree with a six-foot-wide and seven-foot-tall tunnel carved in 1937 (25 mins). Arrive at Humboldt Redwoods State Park in the afternoon and sightsee the tallest creature on the planet - coastal redwoods large enough for cars to pass through. Visit Founders Grove and hike on the Shenmu Trail through the magnificent Forest of the Giants, with redwood trees about a thousand years old (45 mins). Overnight in Eureka.
Eureka - Redwood National and State Parks - Crater Lake National Park - Eugene
Drive through Redwood National and State Parks, featuring an undeveloped 37-mile coastline with surging waves, bizarre rocks, wildlife, and giant redwoods. Visit Cresent Beach (20 mins). Arrive at Crater Lake National Park in the afternoon, the deepest lake in America. The crater was formed by a volcanic eruption 7,700 years ago and is now filled with melting snow and rainwater. The sapphire blue lake is magical and breathtaking with a depth of nearly 600 meters. Annual snowfall exceeds ten meters. (Mandatory, 120 mins). If Crater Lake National Park is closed, it will be replaced by Sea Lion Cave and Thor's Well. Stay overnight in Eugene, the second largest city in Oregon.

Leave for Woodburn Premium Outlets in the morning and enjoy tax-free shopping. Portland - Olympia - Mt. Rainier National Park - Tacoma
Visit the Washington State Capitol Building in Olympia in the morning (30 mins). In the afternoon, drive to Mt. Rainier National Park for an in-depth tour. Mt. Rainier, a mountain out of fairytale floating in the clouds, has endowed Seattle with elegance and beauty. The park features glaciers, waterfalls, lakes, and rivers scattered throughout the rainforest. Visit Paradise Visitor Center, Narada Falls, and Rainier Mountain Scenic Spots (Mandatory, 3.5 hours). The Amtrak Coast Starlight runs daily between Los Angeles and Seattle, passing through Santa Barbara, San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento, and Portland. The train links the greatest cities on the West Coast with unsurpassed scenery including dramatic snow-covered peaks of the Cascade Range, Mount Shasta's lush forests, fertile valleys, and long stretches of Pacific Ocean shoreline. The seats are very spacious and comfortable with all-glass carriages ensuring excellent views. After arriving in Portland, drive to Medford (280 miles, 5 hours). Stay overnight in Medford.
Medford - Shasta Dam - Sundial Bridge - San Francisco
Drive to Shasta Dam in the morning, the most famous dam in California and one of the greatest engineering feats of all time (Mandatory, 60 mins). The 602-foot-high curved gravity dam was completed in 1945 on the Sacramento River, holding back an immense blue reservoir, Lake Shasta, with a 365-mile shoreline nestled amid evergreen hills and Mount Shasta's snow-covered volcanic peak. Visit Sundial Bridge at Turtle Bay (30 mins), a world-famous pedestrian bridge and public art installation crossing the Sacramento River. The bridge is a working sundial, one of the largest in the world, with a steel, glass, and granite span evoking weightlessness and translucent non-skid decking for spectacular viewing. Return to San Francisco Bay Area in the evening to finish the pleasant and unforgettable Ring of Fire National Parks and Amtrak Coast Starlight trip.
