Washington D.C - Niagara Falls
In the morning, depart from Washington, D.C. and head to Niagara Falls. Visit Falls National Park and overlook the American Falls, Horseshoe Falls and Bridal Veil Falls. Take a ride on the Maid of the Mist waterfall viewing boat to experience the cascading and thundering power of the waterfall. At night, go deep into Niagara Falls to experience the in-depth night view tour, appreciating the majesty of the waterfall from multiple angles in the dark, enjoying the colorful and beautiful Niagara Falls lighted night view. Itinerary: Niagara Falls Classic Tour (Optional, 150 mins, including Whirlpool Park + Cave of the Winds + Maid of the Mist) → Niagara Falls Night View Tour (Mandatory, 90 mins) Special Notes: Maid of the Mist usually closes in winter and will not be visited during closure. Fireworks show at the waterfall guaranteed (except when no fireworks scheduled that day).
Corning Museum of Glass - Washington D.C
Depart from the hotel to the world-famous Corning Museum of Glass, the center of the American glass industry. The museum displays about 100,000 pieces of glass products and artistic sculptures. These exquisite glass products, colorful or crystal clear, are dazzling. Afterwards, drive back to Washington D.C. Itinerary: The Corning Museum of Glass (Optional, 90 mins) → Washington D.C.
Washington D.C City Tour
In-depth tour of the political center of the United States - Washington D.C. Guided tour visits famous attractions including the Pentagon (home of the U.S. Department of Defense, site of the 9/11 incident), Mount Vernon (President George Washington's former residence), the Capitol, the White House, Lafayette Square, Lincoln Memorial, and the Vietnam War Memorial Wall. Itinerary: The Pentagon & 9/11 Memorial Museum (Outside visit, 20 mins) → George Washington's Mount Vernon (Optional, 180 mins) → U.S. Capitol (Inside Visit, 120 mins) → The White House & Lafayette Square (30 mins) → Lincoln Memorial + Vietnam Veterans Memorial (40 mins)
Virginia Caverns and Skyline Scenic Tour
Drive south to the Shenandoah National Park area in Virginia. Enter Luray Caverns to experience the wonders of nature, including the Dream Lake and unique stalactite organ. In the afternoon, drive into Shenandoah National Park along the famous Skyline Drive. The park is part of the Blue Ridge Mountains running from north to south. Stop at observation decks to overlook the beautiful Shenandoah Valley and distant mountains. Arrange a relaxing mountain hike to enjoy the scenery along the way (45 mins round trip; may be cancelled in extreme weather). Itinerary: Washington D.C. → Luray Caverns (Optional, 120 mins) → Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park (120 mins, one-way from Thornton Gap) → Washington D.C. Special Notes: Skyline Drive is a one-way tour lasting 120 mins. Will stop at overlooks on the winding mountain driveway. Trail hike cancelled in extreme weather with other stops added. During 10/11/2023-11/11/2023, enjoy autumn scenery. Extreme weather may prevent park entry.
