Begin your amazing and unforgettable journey by taking a plane ride to Sapporo, Japan.
Sapporo
Arrive in Sapporo. Tour guide waiting at airport. Check in to hotel to rest. Free day; can visit Tanukikoji Shopping Street (one of Hokkaido's oldest shopping streets, 900m with ~200 stores) or Susukino entertainment area at own arrangements. Free pick-up from airport at 14:00, 18:00, or 21:00.
Sapporo - Vehicle - Noboribetsu - Vehicle - Onuma
After breakfast, visit Hokkaido Shrine (best place to view cherry blossoms in northern Japan). Visit Shiroi Koibito Park where you can make white lovers' chocolate cookies. Then to Noboribetsu Jigokudani with gushing holes and fumaroles, scenic volcanic valley called "hell where demons live." Finally Ōnuma Quasi-National Park (paradise for nature lovers with wild animals, dense forests, leisure activities). Special note: During maple leaf season (late Sept-late Oct), if unable to access Noboribetsu Jigokudani due to weather, will visit 登別奧羅富紅葉嶺 instead.
Ōnuma - Vehicle - Hakodate - Vehicle - Ōnuma
After breakfast, visit Goryokaku Park (first star fortress city in Japan, 334-meter national historic site with cherry blossoms, green trees, autumn leaves, snow). Visit Hakodate Morning Market (lively market with fresh seafood, crabs, salmon; best visited early). Motomachi Park (green park with historically valuable ruins). Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse (commercial complex built 1909, first warehouse in Hakodate). Visit Hachiman-zaka Slope (rows of trees, views of Hakodate Bay). Evening: Mount Hakodate for spectacular night view (one of Japan's three best night views). Special notes: Cherry blossom season late April-mid May; wisteria mid May-late June (weather dependent); windy and cold at night (bring warm clothes); in case of maintenance/weather, take bus instead of aerial ropeway.
Onuma - Vehicle - Lake Toya
Say farewell to Onuma and head to Lake Toya. Visit Shōwa-shinzan (active volcano still climbing slowly, feel vitality at close distance). Nearby Showa Shinzan Bear Ranch with 100+ brown bears (experience feeding bears with apples, cookies; bears may stand, wave, bow or do funny actions). Explore Toyako Onsen (famous hot spring, weak salt spring, effective for skin and gastrointestinal diseases, overlook "Shrimp Feet Fuji" mountain). Visit Toyako Sairo Tenbodai (best panoramic view of Lake Toya with water and distant mountains).
Lake Toya - Vehicle - Otaru - Vehicle - Sapporo
Visit Otaru Canal (oldest canal in Hokkaido, symbol of pioneering history, famous from movie "Love Letter", banks transformed into handicraft shops, retro kerosene lamps and brick warehouses). Visit Marchen Intersection (by Kitaichi Glass Crystal Kan and Otaru Orgel Museum, European style buildings like fairy tale world). Kitaichi Glass Crystal Kan (glass workshop with original Japanese and world glass products). Otaru Orgel Museum (oldest and largest music box museum in Japan, 3,000+ music boxes from worldwide). Ginnokane building (first floor: souvenirs and foods, second floor: coffee/tea shop where you keep the cup as souvenir). Return to Sapporo. Visit Former Hokkaido Government Office (red brick building, used 80 years). Sapporo Clock Tower (founded 1878, martial arts arena of Sapporo Agricultural School/Hokkaido University predecessor, American building, important cultural property). Sapporo Odori Park (center of city, sculptures, fountains, lilac trees, TV Tower, Museum, host of various festivals).

- Tour operator reserves right to adjust itinerary order, stay time, assembly time based on weather/traffic/conditions while maintaining itinerary completeness
- Scenic spots temporarily closed or holiday closures will be adjusted/replaced by tour guide
- Passengers must bring required travel documents; entry/exit subject to customs decision; inability to enter is force majeure with no refund
- Normal health conditions required; contact operator for disabilities/handicaps (advance notice needed; wheelchair lift bus not guaranteed)
- Late passenger maximum wait: 10 minutes beyond announced meeting time
