Shanghai - Suzhou
Visit Yu Garden, a national 4A-level tourist attraction with pavilions, rocks, and gardens. Then visit Town God's Temple of Shanghai in the old Huangpu District. Drive to Suzhou to visit Hanshan Temple, famous from the Tang Dynasty poem "A Night Mooring Near Maple Bridge." Visit Shantang Street and take a half-hour canal cruise to experience the Jiangnan water town atmosphere. Itinerary: Shanghai → Yu Garden (1 hour) → Town God's Temple of Shanghai (1 hour) → Suzhou → Hanshan Temple (1 hour) → Shantang Street (1 hour including half-hour canal cruise) → Hotel
Suzhou - Zhenjiang - Yangzhou
Visit Lingering Garden, a national 5A-level scenic spot and world cultural heritage site, famous for its classical architectural art integrating mountains, water, and stones. Drive to Zhenjiang and visit Xijin Ferry Historical and Cultural District with buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties featuring brick and wood structures with vermilion-painted carved cornices. Drive to Yangzhou for overnight stay. Itinerary: Suzhou → Lingering Garden (1 hour) → Zhenjiang → Xijin Ferry (1.5 hours) → Yangzhou
Yangzhou - Nanjing

Nanjing - Hangzhou
Visit Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, a national 5A-level tourist attraction and world cultural heritage site, the mausoleum of Ming Dynasty founding emperor Zhu Yuanzhang and Queen Ma, covering over 1.7 million square meters. Features include the Dismounting Archway, Tablet Pavilion, Sacred Way with stone sculptures, and the main Xiao Ling Hall. Drive to Hangzhou and visit Hefang Street, a historical and cultural district showcasing folk artists and Hangzhou's unique market culture, featuring the Former Residence of Hu Xueyan. Hangzhou - Shanghai
Visit West Lake, a national 5A-level tourist attraction, divided into five sections by three causeways with temples, pagodas, gardens, and islands. Experience attractions including Gushan Island, Leifeng Pagoda, Baochu Pagoda, and the scenic pattern of "one mountain, two towers, three islands, three banks, and five lakes." Take a half-hour cruise on West Lake. Visit top ten West Lake attractions: Viewing Fish at Flower Pond with red carps and peonies, Duanqiao Bridge Remnant Snow with romantic legend of Madam White Snake, and Su Causeway with 6 old stone bridges from the Northern Song Dynasty. Drive back to Shanghai and visit Xintiandi, a car-free shopping and entertainment district featuring reconstituted 19th century shikumen houses with cafes, restaurants, and shops. Shanghai
Full day exploring Shanghai. Visit Shanghai Museum on People's Square, a world-class modern museum with over 120,000 pieces including bronze, ceramics, calligraphy, furniture, jades, ancient coins, paintings, seals, sculptures, and minority art. Visit Shanghai French Concession, a former foreign concession (1849-1943) that remains a premier residential and retail district with distinct character and Catholic heritage. In the evening, visit the Bund and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. The Bund features 52 classical revival buildings of different European architectural styles (Gothic, Baroque, Neoclassical, Romanesque, Art Deco, Renaissance) along the Huangpu River. Nanjing Road is the world's longest shopping district (5.5 km) attracting over 1 million visitors daily, featuring modern shopping malls, specialty stores, theaters, and international hotels. Shanghai - Departure
End of tour. Depart from Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) or Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (SHA) according to your flight schedule. Hotel drop-off service provided at 7:00 AM. For guests with earlier flights requiring departure before 7:00 AM, the guide can assist in arranging a taxi.
