Grand Canyon - Horseshoe Bend - Page
Welcome to Arizona. First, optional helicopter ride across the Grand Canyon (30 mins). Then explore Grand Canyon National Park South Rim (40 mins) and East Rim (45 mins). The Grand Canyon, a gorge of the Colorado River, is often considered one of the Wonders of the World and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979. Travel distance from Las Vegas to Grand Canyon: 275 miles, travel time: 4.5 hours. Then visit the magnificent Horseshoe Bend (60 mins), one of the top ten best photography spots selected by National Geographic Magazine, where the Colorado River turns 360 degrees in the reddish-brown canyon. Travel distance to Horseshoe Bend: 110 miles, travel time: 2 hours. Finally, head to Page, AZ. Travel distance from Horseshoe Bend to hotel: 3 miles, travel time: 5 minutes.
Lake Powell - Lower Antelope Canyon - Bryce Canyon National Park
Breakfast included. Lake Powell is the nation's second-largest artificial lake surrounded by 96 side canyons. Travel distance from hotel to Lake Powell: 5 miles, travel time: 10 minutes. Optional: Lake Powell kayaking (60 mins) to pass by Glen Canyon and take a kayak through one of the most famous troughs in the world. Travel distance to Lower Antelope Canyon: 10 miles, travel time: 20 minutes. Optional: explore Lower Antelope Canyon (90 mins), known as one of the world's top ten most famous photographic locations, formed by soft sandstone erosion. The canyon is lit only by light from cracks at the top, creating dreamy and irregular color changes. Travel distance to Bryce Canyon National Park: 155 miles, travel time: 2 hours. Yellowstone National Park (Full Day)
Full-day adventure in Yellowstone (7 hours). Stops will be at Norris Geyser Basin, Steamboat Geyser (the largest geyser in the world, erupting nearly 380 feet high), Upper Falls (33-meter drop along volcanic cliff), Artist Point (canyon over 300 feet deep with yellow, black, red and pink walls), Canyon Village, Hayden Valley, Mud Volcano Area (fountains that spray mud rather than water), Old Faithful Geyser, Fountain Trail, and Morning Glory. Spot elk herds, buffalos, and possibly a bald eagle. The arrangement of attractions will be adjusted according to actual conditions. Enjoy the elegance of Yellowstone Lake and Yellowstone River. Stay overnight in West Yellowstone.
Yellowstone National Park - Great Salt Lake - Salt Lake City
Continue to explore Yellowstone National Park (3 hours). Stops at The Grand Prismatic Hot Spring (also known as Seven Color Pool, the largest hot spring in the United States and third largest in the world, 75-91 meters wide and 49 meters deep, gushing about 2,000 liters of 71-degree hot water every minute; color changes with seasons due to algae and pigment-containing bacteria), and Yellowstone Park Palette Fountain Paint Pot (a mud fountain). Arrangement of attractions adjusted according to actual conditions. Optional: Yellowstone Bear World (60 mins), located in Rexburg, Idaho, the only wildlife sanctuary in Greater Yellowstone that can be driven through, with nearly 100 grizzly bears and other North American animals. Travel distance from Yellowstone to Bear World: 90 miles, travel time: 1.5 hours. Travel distance from Bear World to Great Salt Lake: 225 miles, travel time: 3.5 hours. Mandatory: visit Great Salt Lake (20 mins), the largest inland body of salt water in the Western Hemisphere and one of the most saline inland bodies of water in the world, fed by the Bear, Weber, and Jordan rivers with no outlet.
